At Chirgwin, we believe that artificial intelligence should not remain confined to seminars, articles, or theoretical demonstrations. Its true potential emerges when it is tested in real-world scenarios, addressing practical challenges and allowing people to experience its capabilities firsthand.
With this vision in mind, we created SharkGPT, an internal initiative designed to explore, in a practical and engaging way, how AI-powered agents can support legal and business work.
Inspired by entrepreneurship and investment competitions, SharkGPT brought together a range of GPT agents, each with a specific mission and a unique value proposition. Their challenge was straightforward: demonstrate why they deserved the confidence—and the “investment”—of the team.
Different Agents, Different Strengths
During the event, participants were introduced to agents designed to address specific needs.
Some focused on content creation and communications. Others specialized in generating analytical insights and informed opinions. Additional agents were developed to facilitate business processes, organize complex information, or support project management.
As the presentations unfolded, each agent had to prove its usefulness, efficiency, and future potential. Much like in the business world, the most promising proposals began to attract attention and investments from the audience.
The exercise provided a tangible demonstration of how artificial intelligence can complement human work, streamline repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and free professionals to focus on higher-value strategic activities.
AI as a Tool, Not a Substitute
One of the central messages of SharkGPT was that artificial intelligence should be viewed as a tool that enhances professional performance, not as a replacement for human reasoning.
In the legal profession, responsibility for analyses, recommendations, and decisions always remains with people. For that reason, Chirgwin promotes a responsible approach to AI, under which all content, analyses, and outputs generated through artificial intelligence must be reviewed, validated, and supplemented by the lawyer or lawyers responsible for each matter.
Technology can assist in processing information, identifying patterns, and generating alternative approaches. However, it cannot replace legal judgment, professional experience, or a deep understanding of the particular circumstances facing each client.
We also believe that the adoption of AI must be accompanied by continuous reflection on its ethical implications. The challenge is not simply learning how to use artificial intelligence, but also avoiding excessive dependence on it that could erode our ability to think critically, analyze independently, and make sound decisions.
Technology should strengthen our capabilities, not weaken them. The goal is to use better tools to reason more effectively—not to stop reasoning altogether.
The Emergence of an Unexpected Favorite
As in any competition, some participants stood out for their productivity, others for the depth of their analysis, and others for their ability to solve complex problems.
Yet the agent that ultimately captured the audience’s attention was one that no one expected.
Its name was Don Litigios.
Although it still required additional training and development, its identity, personality, and potential quickly resonated with participants, making it one of the stars of the event and demonstrating that sometimes the most memorable ideas are those that inspire enthusiasm and open the door to new possibilities.
Innovation with Responsibility
More than a competition, SharkGPT was a collective learning experience about the present and future of artificial intelligence in the legal profession.
The event enabled our teams to engage with these technologies from a practical, collaborative, and responsible perspective, fostering experimentation while maintaining the principles that define professional practice.
