The Day After: Presidential Measures Announced

In mid-April 2026, the President of the Republic announced on national broadcast and formally submitted to Congress the bill known as “National Reconstruction”, the first major economic initiative of the current administration.

The proposal includes more than 40 measures aimed at restoring economic growth, improving the country’s competitiveness, strengthening formal employment, simplifying regulatory and permitting processes, and reinforcing fiscal discipline.
