Lawyer from the Catholic University of Chile with an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Durham. Andrés has focused mainly on local and international commercial law, particularly corporate and contractual law, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign investment. He specializes in the legal design and implementation of business structures and transactions, including the restructuring of corporate groups, the negotiation of joint ventures and shareholder agreements, the management of due diligence processes, and the negotiation and implementation of business purchases and sales.
Andrés is a member of the board of directors and a legal representative of several foreign companies in Chile. He has provided a wide range of advisory assistance to domestic and foreign companies of different structures and sizes. He has also successfully litigated in commercial, civil, and competition law. Andrés has acted as an expert witness in Chilean contractual law before the London Court of International Arbitration, he edited the British Chilean Chamber of Commerce Book "Doing Business in Chile" and is a regular collaborator of the World Bank.
