With the victory of the rejection of the Constitution project in the referendum last September 4th and the continuity of the current Constitution, it is possible to affirm that there is institutional stability in Chile. Therefore, the local government adjusted its agenda and made some essential modifications to the tax reform project, presenting a “Pro Investment Agenda 2022”, which has 28 measures to reactivate investment in the country. Its content includes tax benefits such as tax credits, specific programs for promoting investment projects, and strengthening public-private alliances, among others, projecting positive results for 2023.
Some of the measures presented are to enhance the strengthening of InvestChile as an institution for the promotion, development and advancement of foreign investment, consolidate its presence abroad as a way to attract the domestic market, as well as encouraging the implementation of projects to provide quality information and business opportunities to foreign capital.
In this context, InvestChile is promoting its VI InvestChile 2022 International Forum, which will take place on December 5th, 06th, and 07th, 2022, in the capital of Chile, Santiago, aimed at foreign entrepreneurs from various countries worldwide, so that they can learn more about the Chilean market. There will be strategic contacts, training panels on crucial issues for the country, networking activities, and business opportunities from the perspective of different sectors.
